Metallic epoxy is the one finish we cannot show you a sample of and promise an exact match, because it is made while it moves.

The coating goes down wet and is worked as it flows. Where it pools it goes deep, where it is drawn out it goes light, and the pattern that sets is the pattern you keep. No two floors have ever come out the same and no part of a single floor repeats.

What we did

The existing slab was ground back to give the epoxy something to bite into, which is the step that decides whether a floor like this lasts. We blended the bronze and amber tones on site against the room light rather than working to a chart, poured, and worked the surface until the movement was right. A clear topcoat went over the top once it had cured.

Living with it

It is seamless, so there is no grout to discolour and no joints for dirt to sit in. It is hard-wearing enough for a kitchen and warm enough for a living room, and it cleans with a mop and water.
