A driveway is the largest single surface on most properties and usually the least considered.
It is also the first thing anyone sees. On a house of any quality, a plain grey slab running up to the door undoes a good deal of what the rest of the property is doing.
What we did
We engraved a panel pattern into the existing driveway, scaled to the length of the approach so it does not read as busy from the street, then stained it to sit with the brick and stone of the house rather than competing with them. A medallion was set into the entrance where the drive opens out.
Built for traffic
Driveways take more weather and more load than anything else we finish, so the sealer is traffic-grade and the colour is worked into the concrete rather than sitting on the surface. It handles vehicles, sun and Tennessee winters without lifting.
